Rachel joined DOL in 2009. The support she provides includes processing grants, organising training packs and placing online orders for useful material, as well as handling general enquiries.
Prior to this Rachel studied a Foundation Degree in Popular Music and Production. She has sound engineered at various events in Manchester. She enjoyed working with local bands, including A Certain Ratio, who were originally signed to Factory Records.
Rachel enjoys recording and editing music in her spare time along with collecting old vinyl records and taking long walks. She has also travelled around South America to places which include trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, through the Salt Planes in Bolivia and sand surfing in the Atacama Desert on the borders of Chile.
