Laura is the person to get in touch with for all things communications. She has a degree in English and over six years’ experience in editing and communications within the third sector.
Laura has always felt it is important to use her creative talents to make a positive difference, and started her career as an editor at Plain English Campaign where she crafted hundreds of documents into language that is clear, jargon-free and easy to understand. She then moved on to become editor for Foundations, where she produced engaging and informative newsletters for the home improvement agency sector and was key to the company’s rebrand and website.
Laura volunteers at her local gallery (a community venture to help local artists and craftspeople establish themselves) and edits a newsletter for the National Trust. She has also taught English in China and Russia. She enjoys walking, running, cycling and canoeing –anything that gets her out into the beautiful Peak District!
