Ann is regional manager for the Community Outreach Programme in Northern Ireland. Ann has been involved with the voluntary sector for more than 20 years both as a funder and as an active committee member of several local community groups. She has an MBA and a degree in Business and Marketing and has practical experience of using her skills to help establish a number of community businesses.
Previously, Ann worked in private health care in Dublin and she was Director of the Community Fund in Northern Ireland (now the Big Lottery Fund) where she was responsible for grant making. She has an extensive knowledge of the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland and has worked with Government and other major funders to help support and develop the sector. Prior to this she worked as a Consultant for Price Waterhouse Coopers in Belfast.
Ann is an enthusiastic sailor and spends her spare time helping to organise racing events and helping to run her local sailing club. Any remaining spare time is spent travelling and skiing.
